Oh wow, a recommendation article? From this chick I’m only following because her dad died and she wrote a bunch of semi-public emotional journal entries……but of course!!
So much to recommend, let’s ground ourselves with this bathroom counter pic I haphazardly took to explain to my sister what I’ve been using lately:
First of all. Revlon lipsticks are simply incredible. I’ve heard before that most lipsticks are manufactured in the same facilities, but after commencing research it appears they are uniquely made in North Carolina. And let me tell you, these bullets and just sensational for the price. Rose Velvet and Blushing Nude are the closest I could get to my nipple color, which is a mission I am on.
What else sitting on that counter is good the price? Nothing, it’s all crazy overpriced. K-18 is $81.00 for 1.7 fluid ounces. Not even 2 ounces. Just a measly shot of espresso, a hair more than I can stand of vodka in a Shirley temple. You are supposed to drink what 64 oz day for minimum hydration. And that’s free if you at drink public fountains all day.
But it does make me feel sexy, hair sexy. Very smoothing, so do with that what you will.
Let’s talk sunscreen. Boy, I feel like it’s shoved down our throat all year round to wear spf to stay hot and not ever look old someday. And there I was frivolously slapping on the Beauty of Joseon rice + probiotics sunscreen , in Winter, even when it’s cloudy.
But now, it’s like the hottest and most brutally sunny summer in a while and I’m actually like terrified of what my highly virginal bare butt soft, white as the snow capped Caucasus mountains skin will do without a reapplication of sun protection every 45 minutes. I’ve been carrying around an UPF 50+ umbrella and I refuse to feel any embarrassment about in this crowded farmers market.
I picked up the Colorscience sunscreen skin tint and La Roche Posay one with my HSA at the HSAstore.com. I recommend getting an HSA, but for sunscreen, I recommend the Beauty of Joseon. Korean sunscreens often have a superior formula to US or French brand and feel like nothing on the skin! Like how?!
Lastly I recommend buying jewelry making stuff and just messing around and finding out! It’s way less expensive than buying a finished product and you can zone out beading something magical while watching Veep, another rec!
